Tunisia to Sign Two Financing Agreements With IDB and WB

Tunisia is expected to sign two financing agreements with the World Bank and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), on the sidelines of its participation in the annual meetings of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to be held from October 11 to 15 in the United States.

A Tunisian delegation consisting of Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation, Zied Laâdhari, Finance Minister Ridha Chalghoum and Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Chedly Ayari is due in Washington (United States) Tuesday to participate in the work of these meetings.

The meetings will be an opportunity for Tunisia to present its new strategic orientations as well as all the reforms undertaken by the government to revive economic growth, preserve fiscal balances and improve the business climate.
